NHTYA 3 & 6 hr Regatta
Oct Long weekend.
Race details for 2024 are now available.
Basing ourselves and launching at Styles Point. Many put their boats in on the Friday. This year our race committee has put together a great weekend of racing.
SATURDAY - The 3 hour race will be in the form of s 'STERN CHASER". This means a handicap start and you'll be given your own personal start time. Basically, he who crosses the line first wins. You either chase the 'Stern' of the next boat or they are chasing your 'Stern'! Loads of fun!!
Saturday night- there is a plethora of choices. However many of us end up at Rathmines bowling club which is walking distance away from Styles Point.
SUNDAY- The 6 hour race will be in the form of a part circumnavigation of our great lake. Make sure you pack your lunch and plenty of water and sunscreen.
Sunday night - as per tradition, the Sunday BBQ dinner whilst watching the NRL grand final on a large outdoor screen is on.
$20 a head for adults and $10 per child (under 15), includes Sunday night BBQ (bring a salad /dessert to share) plus Monday bacon & eggs breakfast.
